A practice list for the second interschool spelling bee to be held Thursday, January 27, will be posted here during the first week in October.  All of the words will come from 2011 Spell It!  The first 180 words in the spelling bee will come from this list.  When this list has been used up or when five spellers remain in the contest, whichever comes first, a new list of 50 championship words will be used.  These words could be any words found in Webster's Third New International Dictionary, Unabridged, 2002 edition.  A dictionary with the pronunciations and definitions of these words will be sent to each participating school during October.
